Vehicle Markings of the BEF 1940

New material about British forces in France and at Dunkirk.

From September 1939 to the evacuation from Dunkirk: the short-lived British Expeditionary Force first struggled to halt the German ‘blitzkrieg’, then escaped back to help Britain to fight another day.  Key information about its vehicles and their markings seemed to be lost but now it has been found.

A GHQ instruction, dated 13 March 1940, which lists every unit in the BEF and its approved markings, has recently been discovered. Using this and a GHQ letter of amendments, dated 11 April 1940, the author has compiled a fully illustrated guide to BEF markings as at 11 April 1940.

The booklet has just been reprinted with a few updates in its third edition

The price, including postage, is £25 for the UK and £30 for the rest of Europe. Please ask for other countries.
